Chastity Belt - Time to Go Home

These Walla Walla rock ‘n’ rollers are a pretty bunch of lasses. They do look questionably young in the pics on their fb page though. This may be a deliberate ploy to conjure an untouchable image. To be sure, any potential suitors should check IDs.

That aside, this tune is oozing cool. The guitars drip with sublime verbaliciousness. This gives our sole, sultry vocalist an angst ridden soundscape to augment. When she sings, “I’m gonna have a meaningful night,” you can hear the youthful expectations, and good intentions, of a seemingly innocent young lady. And if I ever have a daughter, I can only hope she is sensible enough to follow the good advice in the song’s title - I certainly never do.

Whatever tricks these chicks are trying to pull with their music and image, they seem to be working.
